Privacy Policy

This page explains what data this website collects, why, and how we handle it. We aim to be specific rather than legalistic. If something here is unclear or you want a record removed, email [email protected].

Who we are

This website is operated by CloudWizz. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean CloudWizz. The data controller for personal information collected via this site is CloudWizz.

What we collect

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics for traffic measurement. Plausible is cookieless, GDPR-friendly by design, and does not track individual users across sites or sessions. The data we see is aggregated: page views, referrers, country, browser, and device class. We do not see IP addresses, persistent identifiers, or user-level activity.

Analytics only loads after you accept the cookie/consent banner. If you decline, the script never runs.

Forms

The site has several forms — contact, eBook download, and job application. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms. The data you submit (typically name, email, company, message, and where applicable, LinkedIn URL or role applied to) is stored in Netlify's form inbox and forwarded to [email protected].

We use form submissions only to respond to you, evaluate your application, or fulfill your request (for example, send the eBook PDF). We do not add you to a marketing list, sell your data, or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. The only cookie or local-storage value the site uses is a single key (cd-consent) that records your choice on the analytics consent banner so we don't ask again on every page.

Third-party services

  • Netlify — hosting and form processing. Receives standard request data (IP, user agent) and form submissions you send.
  • Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics. Receives anonymous, aggregated visit data only after you opt in.
  • Calendly — booking widget on the contact page. Loads only after you click "Pick a time." If you book, Calendly receives your name and email.
  • Embedded fonts — Poppins is self-hosted (we don't load Google Fonts).

How long we keep data

Form submissions are retained in the Netlify Forms inbox for as long as we may need them to follow up. Job applications are retained for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete sooner. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

If you're in a jurisdiction with data-protection rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and similar), you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what data we have about you
  • Correct it
  • Delete it
  • Provide a portable copy

Email [email protected] with the request. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
