Careers

Let's rebuild DevOps the way it should have been built.

Senior practitioners, AI in the loop, real open-source time. A small team that runs lean by design — and treats craft, judgment, and ownership as the whole job.

What we run on

Four values, written down — and visible in every review and decision.

01

Be candid

We tell each other what's true — about the work, the code, the call. Even when it's harder than diplomacy.

02

Strive to delight

Good is the floor. We aim for the moment a client says 'I didn't know this was possible.'

03

Stay ahead

AI changed how DevOps gets done. We rebuild our craft every quarter — and the team learns out loud.

04

Be resourceful

Small team, real ownership. You pick up what needs picking up, and we make sure you have the budget and time to do it well.

Urvashi Panjwani
"I've seen a lot of company cultures up close. What makes CloudWizz different is that the values aren't aspirational, they're just how people actually behave. My job is mostly to protect that as we grow."

Remote-first

Four countries. Async by default. Show up where you work best.

Our HQ is in Canada, but the team is distributed across India, Ukraine, the UAE, and points between. We hire for craft and trust, not zip code.

Standups are written, not synchronous. Meetings are the exception, not the cadence. Deep work blocks are protected. If you've been waiting for a place that takes remote seriously enough to redesign the calendar around it — this is that place.

What you get

Benefits designed for senior practitioners, not for HR brochures.

  • 01

    Remote-first

Work from wherever you do your best work. Four-country team, async-by-default communication.

  • 02

    Transparent ops

Quarterly numbers, hiring plans, comp bands — shared internally. No surprises about the business you work for.

  • 03

    Learning budget

Annual budget for certifications, conferences, books, and courses. AWS / GCP / Azure / CNCF exams covered.

  • 04

    OSS time

A real fraction of every week goes to open source. Modules you ship live in your name, on our registry.

  • 05

    Mental wellness

Therapy and coaching credits through a platform of your choice. On-call rotations have real backups — no graveyard solo shifts.

  • 06

    ESOPs that vest

Meaningful equity for engineers, with a 4-year vest and standard cliff. We share upside with the people who build it.

In their words

What the team actually says about working here.

"What I like most is that I always know what I'm working on and why it matters. Nobody gives you random tasks here. And the people are genuinely nice, we help each other like friends not just coworkers."

DevOps Engineer

"Before CloudWizz I worked at a place where senior people only talked to clients and junior people did all the actual work. Here everyone does real work. My title says engineer and that is exactly what I do every day. Also the team feels like a small family honestly."
Arzian Ghanchi

DevOps Engineer

"I was nervous joining a tech company because I'm not an engineer, but everyone made me feel welcome from day one. The team is so supportive, we laugh together, we celebrate wins together. It does not feel like a typical office, it feels like working with friends who are really good at what they do."

Where we show up

Open source isn't a side project — it's a fraction of every week.

Conferences, modules, blog posts, mentorship. The cloud-native community made this work possible; we put real time back into it.

How we hire

Four steps. No leetcode. The trial engagement is paid.

  1. Step 01

    Intro call

30 minutes with HarmanJyot or another senior practitioner. Mutual fit conversation.

  2. Step 02

    Technical conversation

We walk through a real (anonymized) client problem together. Your approach, not your trivia.

  3. Step 03

    Paid trial engagement

1–2 weeks on real client work, paired with a CloudWizz engineer. Both sides evaluate.

  4. Step 04

    Offer

If both sides want to continue, we make an offer with clear comp and ramp expectations.
